DSH Insurance is warning policyholders to be cautious of potential scammers operating online.
We would like to remind you to be vigilant and protect yourselves from any incident that may compromise your private or personal information.
Be mindful of the following:
- If you receive a phone call or letter asking for your Policyholder details such as client number or banking details, do not provide them. Contact DSH Insurance to confirm the request is legitimate.
- Never give personal details to someone you do not know and trust.
- Never provide information such as passwords, tax file numbers or bank account details via email links.
- Do not open suspicious texts or click on links or attachments in emails received from unknown or unexpected sources.
- If you think you have provided your DSH Insurance policy details to a scammer, contact us immediately.
Reasons DSH Insurance might contact you
As a DSH Insurance policyholder, you may hear from us about important information to do with your policy, such as updating your personal information, bank or card details.
We might also send an SMS to those who have been affected by a natural event, letting you know we will be calling you, reminders to send us your information, or your claim progress. You can unsubscribe anytime, available as an option under each SMS.
